Baseball boys played Friday, April 27 against Fulshear and dominated with a score of 5-3, making them district champions.

We caught up with on of the players, senior Stuart Johnson, about his feelings about the upcoming bi-district competitions.

Q: Are you confident going into playoffs?
A: Yes, we have a well rounded team pitching and hitting wise.

Q: How do you think the team got to this point?
A: Through hard work and dedication.

Q: What should you and the team focus on the most going in playoffs?
A: We need to keep a positive attitude and not get down on ourselves when something doesn’t go our way.

Q: What was your favorite moment from this regular season?
A: My favorite moment was the game against Victoria West when we clinched the district championship as well as getting Coach Tosch his 200th win at Foster.

Q: What was the toughest part or moment of the regular season?
A: The toughest part of the season to me was having a season ending injury and knowing that it was my last time to step on a field and play the game I love.

The varsity teams next game was against SA Jefferson High School at home field at 7pm on Friday, May 4.
