The boys varsity baseball secured their area championship with a two game win against Dripping Springs on Friday, May 11. The scores were 7-5 and 4-3. The team lost two games against Boerne, making the team not able advance in playoffs.
The varsity baseball coach, Coach Tosch, got to talk about their season and hopes for next season.
Though the team couldn’t pull through all the way to finals, they had strengths that were able to get them to as far as they went.
“Our strength all year was our pitching staff and hitting,” Tosch said. “Our guys played their hearts out.”
There’s always an end to everything and with that there are memories and goals for next season.
“The goals for next year are the same- win district and compete for a chance to go to Round Rock,” Tosch said.
